The Office of Marketing & Media Relations reports on both external and internal news about Western State Colorado University-- a place where something newsworthy is always happening! Whether it is world class archaeology research on W Mountain, events such as motocross on campus or student-led environmental campaigns, we always have a story to tell. We also assist with media inquiries, and manage WSCU marketing, advertising, social media and branding efforts.
Additionally, we are responsible for alumni profiles in the Alumni Relations publication, "Westerner."
Local newspapers "Gunnison Country Times" and the "Crested Butte News" also feature articles written by Marketing & Media Relations staff.

Using Western's New Logo
Do you need to use Western's new logo? The Department of Marketing & Media Relations provides oversight of and guidelines for the use of the logo across all official university communication platforms. The newest Brand Identity System manual is still under development, but the university logo is available for your use.
